From Wednesday, April 7th to Tuesday, April 27th, Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 8th floor, Isetan Men's Residence will be hosting a promotion for the Italian writing instrument brand LEONARDO OFFICINA ITALIANA. During the event, they will be showcasing a variety of beautiful writing instruments, including the Japan-exclusive models "Nostalgia," "Tramonto," and "Felice," which were just released last year.

The Leonardo Officina Italiana featured here is a brand launched in 2018 by a workshop in southern Italy that has been making writing instruments for over 45 years.

Founder Salvatore Matrone is the son of Ciro Matrone, one of the founding members of Delta, a once-popular writing instrument manufacturer, and he himself has a background in Delta's product design. Behind the brand, there is a rich history of technology and know-how passed down from father to son, as well as years of experience and tradition. You can see the "Delta" DNA in the carving method that brings out the texture of the resin material, and in the rolling wheel clips that incorporate wheels.

Each product is handcrafted by skilled artisans, resulting in products that are not only meticulously made but also possess an artistic beauty characteristic of Italy.

The "Tramonto" model, a Japan-exclusive model from the "MomentoZero" collection that we're introducing today, means "sunset" in Italian.
Leonardo Officina Italiana's hometown is Caserta, near Naples in southern Italy. This town, bathed in sunshine during the day, transforms into a nighttime landscape as the sun sets behind the hills, revealing a completely different face. These two faces are expressed in orange and navy resin. Although the colors are contrasting, the balance between the nuanced orange body and the solid navy cap is exquisite.

This is the Japan-exclusive model "Felice." Meaning "happiness" in Italian, this collection, as its name suggests, transforms the time spent writing into a moment of pure bliss.
The emerald green color is inspired by the "Emerald Grotto" located on the cliffs near the Amalfi Coast. The translucent green body uses a special resin that appears to glow from within due to the refraction of light, evoking the mystical spectacle of water and light created by the "Emerald Grotto".
