A pop-up shop showcasing the lifestyle of Ken Yokomachi, who runs the exotic plant shop "BOTANIZE" that deals in unique caudex and succulent plants, will open at the Season Goods section on the 1st floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . The event will run from March 31st (Wed) to April 6th (Tue).


This pop-up focuses on Mr. Yokomachi, the driving force behind the caudex plant boom. His infamous "Room AK," filled with his hobbies and preferences, has been recreated at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , expressing his inner world—his lifestyle itself. The lineup features special items centered around three essential elements of his lifestyle: plants, apparel, and contemporary art.


Plants are Mr. Yokomachi's life's work. This time, we introduce Botanize's new pots and the caudiciform plants planted in them. The new winged pots are designed to look beautiful when viewed from above after planting.


Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is an essential part of Yokomachi's lifestyle. The shop features items that can only be purchased here, including those from CARPE DIEM BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU, the gym he frequents, as well as collaborations with BEDWIN&THE HEARTBREAKERS and UnkindnessTokyo, with whom he has deepened his relationship through Jiu-Jitsu, and collaborations with KIJIMATAKAYUKI.






The lineup also includes works incorporating contemporary art, such as miscellaneous goods by Paris-based artist Takeru Amano and silkscreen prints by DONOVAN.




Furthermore, the venue will also feature a logo created specifically for this pop-up by calligrapher Shido Akama, as well as a character representing Brain Market. Don't miss this limited-time pop-up, which is full of highlights.
