MINAL, a men's brand launched in December 2020 by Hideki Iwasaki, who heads the jewelry brand FANTASTIC MAN, and designer Kengo Baba , will be opening its Spring/Summer 2021 collection at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1F, Sweaters & Casual Shirts section, ahead of anywhere else.

Mainal's concept is "clothing for discerning adult men," and it maintains an unwavering commitment to materials and sewing, proposing a unique style that follows the context of men's fashion up until now while interpreting it in the present era.
This spring/summer collection focuses on comfortable double-breasted jackets paired with trousers inspired by Gurkha shorts, creating a relaxed style with a loose silhouette. The lineup also includes high-quality cotton-silk shirts and fine-gauge cotton t-shirts with sophisticated cuts and a pleasant feel against the skin.

This slim-fitting double-breasted jacket features low-set lapels. Side vents and functional buttoned cuffs give it a casual and relaxed feel. The fabric is a blend of rayon and linen, combining the luster and drape of rayon with a natural texture thanks to the linen. A bio-tumbler finish gives it a powdery feel.

These Gurkha shorts, often seen in vintage and secondhand clothing, have been reimagined in a full-length style. They feature a single-strap waistband, flared hems, a high rise, and multiple pleats. The relaxed fit provides a cool and refreshing feel, making them a great choice for safari-inspired outfits. They can also be enjoyed as a set with the matching double-breasted jacket made from the same material.

This long-sleeved T-shirt features a minimalist design with no ribbing around the collar. It incorporates design elements reminiscent of a caftan shirt, such as slits on both sides and a difference in length between the front and back. A seam extending from the shoulder line is added to the sleeve head, giving it structure and a three-dimensional finish. The material used is extra-long staple Peruvian cotton. It has a crisp texture with a moderate sheen, making it comfortable even in summer, and is characterized by a unique suppleness and smooth touch that is unexpected for cotton.
