A tote bag from Acate
I love the high-quality materials and minimalist design of Acate bags. Their versatility is also appealing, as they can be paired with everything from dressy to slightly more casual styles. I appreciate the brand's commitment to design, even at the expense of functionality. Since I started carrying my laptop more often, size has become the most important factor when choosing a bag. I mostly own tote bags. Beyond that, I choose bags that blend seamlessly with my preferred styling.
Since it was raining, I decided to style my outfit around a synthetic coat. This Tyrolean coat from La Favola is one of my favorites. I love its silhouette, and I also appreciate the drape and lightness of the material. The large pockets are also a plus, as they can hold a lot of things. When I'm not carrying my laptop, I like to go out hands-free, so an outer garment with large pockets is extremely helpful.

I stopped buying plastic bottles and started carrying my own reusable bottle, so there are times when I can't go out empty-handed, which is why I bought this bag. I like how it conforms to my body and blends well with various styles. The design, which maximizes the classic intrecciato weave, is also perfect for my current mood. It's 100% nylon, so the bag itself is lightweight, which is a plus. When choosing a bag, I prioritize whether it blends well with my styling. I also try to choose solid colors with muted tones.
I styled this outfit with a focus on the long, vertical silhouette that I've been interested in lately. The color tone is based on brown to beige tones, with black items used as accents to add definition. I love the shape of this Dries Van Noten jacket, and I own it in different colors.

I prioritize versatility and functional design. I generally prefer bags that leave both hands free. I've been using various Porter bags since my student days, starting with the Tanker series, so I still feel confident using them. This one is great because it has a large capacity that can easily accommodate when I suddenly have more things to carry. The durable material that I can use without worrying about the rain is also a plus. I also like the authentic design that goes well with both dressy and casual outfits.
My basic style is based on traditional fashion. I wear a blazer under my coat because I want a neat and tidy look that I can wear to work anytime. I like showing off my socks with denim and dress shoes, and today I've matched my Tilden knit sweater and socks with the same cable knit pattern. I don't think anyone will notice (laughs), but I really think these kinds of personal pleasures are important in this day and age.
