Founded in 1859 at the foot of the Pyrenees Mountains in southwestern France, Pyrenex is a company that produces down feathers. Based close to goose and duck farms, they maintain strict control over every step of the process, from sourcing raw down to finishing. The down they use comes from waterfowl that have been raised for 14 to 16 weeks and are fully mature. Raised freely in a cold region with large temperature fluctuations, the down clusters (down balls) grow large, resulting in down that is highly lofty and retains warmth.

The "ANNCEY" jacket can be worn comfortably over a suit or jacket, thanks to its three-dimensional shoulder and arm pattern. The high-density woven polyester gabardine used for the outer shell is laminated with a polyurethane membrane, providing protection from light rain. It has a mid-length that covers the hem when worn over a jacket, and the voluminous fur-trimmed hood is detachable.

To commemorate the company's 160th anniversary, a vintage collection is being released, reviving the popular "MYTHIC" model from that era.
