The origins of dress clothing lie in military wear. This season, Ring Jacket's theme is "Military & Work." A coat modified from a 1940s British military motorcycle coat is an iconic item that symbolizes this season.

The large lapels that frame the face and the chest pocket reminiscent of a map pocket, along with other rugged details, are elevated to a reliable and masculine look by the soft greige color. Incidentally, the material used is "British Warm" from the long-established British company "Moon." The high-quality wool has a luxurious feel that will make you feel special every time you put it on.

In terms of styling, a British-style combination, such as wearing a turtleneck sweater under the jacket, works best. A more casual look, such as simply throwing it on over a chunky, low-gauge sweater and cotton gabardine pants, is also recommended.

Alongside the Mallory jacket, the Tenzing jacket is an iconic model of Nigel Cabourn. Inspired by the jacket worn by Tenzing Norgay, who attempted to climb Mount Everest alongside mountaineer George Mallory, this model is made from a newly developed original washable wool. The flannel material has a supple and smooth feel, and a moderate sheen, giving it elements of both casual and dressy styles depending on what you pair it with.

Here, the top is paired with pants made of the same material for a coordinated set. The key to the inner layer is to tighten the look with a shirt to avoid it becoming too casual, but choosing a textured material such as chambray will make the overall look more cohesive.

A classic, relaxed-fit coat that's easy to mix and match.

The fabric, carefully woven at a low speed using precious colored alpaca wool, offers a smooth feel and rich texture.

Here, the soft tones of undyed alpaca are utilized, and the outfit is styled in soft color tones of grayish navy and pale pink. Layering the hem with a long vest allows for a subtle change in look by mixing materials from houndstooth, corduroy, and serge from the blouson to the bottoms. To highlight the presence of the blouson, it's best to stick to simple items when pairing it with other pieces.

Makoto Segawa, who served as creative director at the popular Italian brand Maison Flaneur, launched the brand Seeall last year, where his creativity is more strongly expressed. Even a familiar Chester coat takes on a different, luxurious mood thanks to the high-quality materials. The wool material used is a high-density wool serge treated with urethane resin to emphasize its crispness. By weaving it compactly, it is finished with a modern look.

To bring out the softness of the wool, we recommend pairing it with a loosely knitted sweater for a gentle, monochromatic look. Of course, it also looks great with denim or chinos, but for a truly dressy look, try pairing it with creased trousers in a similar color.
