ISETAN MEN'S has now opened a store on the online site "BRONLINE," with which they have previously collaborated, including setting up a corner shop on the 5th floor of Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building (Men's Tailored Clothing) and recording live segments for their YouTube channel. The store opened on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. To commemorate the opening, we will introduce a YouTube video on "BRONLINE" featuring Isetan buyer Inaba, as well as the tailored clothing and dress shoe items that Inaba highlights in the video.


BRONLINE offers a wide range of items, from dress wear items in the men's tailored clothing section on the 5th floor of Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , to dress shoes in the men's footwear section on the basement floor, and dress shirts, ties, and seasonal accessories on the 1st floor.

To mark the start of the store's opening, Tomohiro Inaba, buyer for Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building visited the "BRCHANNEL Fashion College" YouTube channel of "BRONLINE," which has over 170,000 subscribers.



In the video, we introduce recommended items from the BRONLINE collection, including the channel's instructor Yoshimasa Hoshiba (Editor-in-Chief of FORZA STYLE) and his assistant Yuki Terada, which are particularly unique, such as ISETAN MEN'S exclusive suits and jackets from Tagliatore and De Petrillo, and the high-cost-performance dress shoes from Berwick. The founder, who gained experience in Neapolitan tailoring, creates the brand using traditional tailoring techniques. This jacket, a joint project between BRONLINE and Isetan Men's, is made from high-quality 100% cashmere fabric, giving it a soft and smooth feel.

Continuing the "monochrome" trend, the black color exudes a dignified presence, instantly creating a sophisticated impression when worn as an outer layer. Inaba recommends styling it elegantly with wool slacks and a shirt or T-shirt, or casually with a fine-gauge turtleneck and denim.

2. A special order Loro Piana jacket from De Petrillo that elevates your style.

This is another collaboration jacket between De Petrillo, BRONLINE, and Isetan Men's. The outer fabric is made of 100% wool with a soft texture, and the herringbone pattern gives it a substantial feel. The subtly visible burgundy lining and silver metal buttons are eye-catching, but you can also replace them with the included spare buttons if you prefer. This jacket offers a comfortable fit and enhances a sense of class.

3. A sophisticated urban-looking Loro Piana suit made exclusively for De Petrillo.

This is yet another collaboration between De Petrillo, BRONLINE, and Isetan Men's, resulting in a single-breasted, three-button, one-pleat suit. The outer fabric is 100% wool with a lustrous finish, and the Bordeaux-colored lining peeks out subtly. The black color, combined with the substantial flannel fabric, gives it a sophisticated, urban look. The metal buttons on the jacket allow it to be worn as a black blazer as well.

4. The suede jacket from Cinquanta is a masterpiece.

This dressy double-breasted jacket is from CINQUANTA, a leatherwear brand with a workshop in the suburbs of Florence, Italy. The suede material gives it a refined look, while the four gold-colored buttons stand out. The smooth rayon lining makes it comfortable to wear. This item can be worn neatly even with the front open, and Inaba's style is to pair it with a cut-and-sew top and military pants for a modern look.

5. Tagliatore exclusive suit available in 6 colors, including stripes and solid colors.

This is a special edition model resulting from a collaboration between three companies: TAGLIATORE, a leading Italian tailored brand based in Puglia in southern Italy; Vitale Barberis Canonico, one of the world's oldest fabric manufacturers based in Biella in northern Italy; and Isetan Men's.


The material chosen is "Vitale Barberis Canonico" Revenge SUPER 150's, whose soft, supple touch and beautiful sheen speak of true luxury. The fabric is very tightly woven and has a strong core, and the calm, dark color makes it versatile for various occasions, including business use. The model is the "Napoli" from Tagliatore, specially commissioned for this project. While it has a basic look, the shoulders are softly shaped for a comfortable fit, and the trousers have a rise that is 1 cm deeper than the original basic model.

6. John Smedley knit and cardigan ensemble

ISETAN MEN'S will be selling a crew neck knit and V-neck cardigan from JOHN SMEDLEY, a prestigious knitwear brand that leads the way in fine gauge knitwear, as an ensemble set.


When a jacket feels too formal, or when you want to add a touch of sophistication to an online meeting during remote work, simply throw on this cardigan over a T-shirt. Pairing it with sporty pants like function pants is the latest trendy way to style a knit ensemble.

7. Traditional Berwick tassel loafers

The lineup also includes dress shoes made with the Goodyear welt construction method from Berwick, a Spanish dress shoe brand that combines the skills of craftsmen with technology. Tomoyasu Tabata, the men's shoe buyer, also participated in the development, working with the company president to create a new last, the "Millennial Last," tailored to the foot shape of today's young Japanese generation. These shoes have an excellent balance of width, waist, and heel. Made in Spain and using the Goodyear welt construction, they offer great value for money at 30,000 yen (excluding tax).


These Berwick tassel loafers have a rounded shape that gives them a traditional look. They are constructed using the Goodyear welt method, ensuring long-lasting wear. The upper is made of leather that molds to your feet with each wear, and the Vibram sole provides comfortable walking.
