KOTOKA is a new concept in leather shoes developed jointly by seven shoe manufacturers in Nara, one of Japan's leading leather shoe production areas. The upper (top layer of leather) uses expressive leather produced in Japan. The simple style that makes the most of the leather's individuality, as the name KOTOKA (which incorporates the word "ancient capital") suggests, has a sustainable appeal that deepens in character with age. It is also a tough shoe that can be worn with simple maintenance, mainly brushing. On display at the shoe exhibition.

Oriental Shoes, an original brand established in Nara in 1957, has been making shoes using various manufacturing methods. Leveraging the know-how gained from working with various brands, they pursue unique shoemaking techniques that achieve both beautiful silhouettes and a firm, comfortable fit, such as the "Beveled Goodyear Grade," which combines the Goodyear welted and McKay construction methods. At this shoe fair, they plan to showcase a wide range of products, including past models and samples.
