Saby, a brand launched in the Spring/Summer 2020 season by designer Tetsuya Hashimoto, will be holding a limited-time pop-up store at the Mitsukoshi Isetan online store. From 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 23rd to Wednesday, July 29th, the store will focus on pants inspired by "hakama" (traditional Japanese trousers), showcasing a carefully curated lineup including items made exclusively for the Isetan Shinjuku store.

Hashimoto, who gained experience as a designer at bukht, became independent last year and launched his own brand, Sabai, this spring. He uses a coined word inspired by "wabi-sabi," which represents the Japanese aesthetic sense, as the brand name, and aims to create high-quality casual wear by working carefully with artisans.

Another characteristic of the brand is its expression of the Japanese sensibility that perceives profound richness in the new flavors and tranquility that arise from aging. For this second season, the brand has adopted the word "stem" (a word referring to the trunk or stem of a plant) as its season theme, with the intention of delving deeper into the "trunk" and "stem" of survival.

This pop-up store will feature a special Mitsukoshi Isetan exclusive color of the brand's iconic pleated baggy pants. This model is characterized by its wide silhouette and has been a popular item that has attracted attention early in the season. In addition, the store will offer a limited-time selection of big chino pants created in collaboration with Dickies, and pleated baggy denim pants that will only be available at select stores.
