PORTER , the in-house brand of Yoshida & Co., founded in 1935, will be introducing wallets made from leather, a material not usually available in stores, in addition to nylon, starting July 22nd (Wednesday) at the Leather Goods section on the 1st floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building .

This promotion will showcase products from PORTER "HEXARIA," "FILM," and "BILL CORDOVAN" collections.

This casual series features a distinctive texture, primarily using ARIAPRENE™ mesh, the same material used in the uppers of high-tech sneakers. The 5mm cord attached to the accessories can be used as a neck strap or wallet chain. In addition, the series incorporates various materials and colors into each item, such as using zigzag stitching on the reflective PORTER tag.

This series of leather goods features thick shoulder leather that has been carefully coated with multiple thin layers of pigment to create a glass-like finish, and then the surface is lightly sanded to create a unique texture with varying shades. Shoulder leather has a distinctive pattern of bumps and indentations along the spine, known as "tiger stripes." When sanding after the glass-finishing process, these bumps and indentations cause variations in how the leather is sanded, resulting in an uneven finish and making each piece unique. To allow you to enjoy the contrast between the black glass-finished surface and the natural leather, the exterior is finished with a polished edge and a top coat, and the interior is luxuriously finished with only leather, without any lining.

This high-class and dignified leather goods series uses top-quality domestic cordovan as its main material. The interior is luxuriously finished with imported vegetable-tanned leather. The edges are carefully polished, showcasing the craftsmanship of the artisans, and the basic design is characterized by a sharp and clean impression. It comes in two colors: jet black and a deep blue with an attractive transparency. The zippers are high-quality Excella zippers that are smooth to the touch, with gold-colored zippers used for the black version and silver-colored zippers for the deep blue version.
