PORTER , the in-house brand of Yoshida & Co., founded in 1935, is offering trolley bags and Boston bags, which are not usually available at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , for a limited two-week period starting March 25th (Wednesday) in the travel bag section on the first basement floor of the main building.

The main material is an original twill fabric woven with 100-denier Cordura® nylon yarn for the warp and 420-denier Cordura® nylon yarn for the weft. It is durable and strong, yet lightweight. The surface of the fabric is treated with Teflon® fabric coating, and the back is PVC coated, making it resistant to water seeping into the interior.

Based on the concept of lightweight design, the "Hybrid" series uses "X-C1000" as its main material, which is strong, light, and water-resistant, and all the parts for the carry-on have also been redesigned. It has a large capacity two-compartment design, and the contents can be secured by tightening the front adjustment strap depending on the volume of luggage. It can also be folded to save space when not in use and can be stored in the included dedicated storage bag.

This new series of 3-way duffel bags focuses on packing, offering durability and superior convenience. The bag features a hand-carry handle, backpack straps, and a detachable shoulder strap all attached to the same top gusset, allowing for quick and easy changes in carrying style for various situations. The main compartment opens fully like a suitcase, with a zippered divider, making it highly functional and easy to see and access your belongings when packing.

This casual series features a highly convenient packable design, where the bag normally stored in the back of the sacoche can be used as a tote bag, shoulder bag, or daypack when you have more luggage while traveling or out and about. The fabric of the stored bag is made of a high-density woven polyester twill that is resistant to wrinkles even when folded, has a pleasant feel, is thin yet tear-resistant, and can store heavy items.

In addition, we will be introducing the "Tanker" series Boston bags, which are based on the popular MA-1 flight jacket of the U.S. Air Force, and the "Flex" series, which uses nylon ripstop fabric also known as parachute cloth.
