PRIVATEEYES & TRACKERS will open a limited-time pop-up shop at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1F, Season Goods, from Wednesday, March 11th to Tuesday, March 24th. The latest eyewear collections from three brands will be available: NATIVE SONS, JULIUS TART OPTICAL, and from Friday, March 20th, SAUVAGE*.

Tammy O'Gara, the representative and designer of Private Eyes and Truckers, not only develops her own brand, Native Sons, but also revives Julia Start Optical, which was founded in the 1950s, demonstrating her strong passion and commitment to eyewear.


At their own factory in Sabae, Fukui Prefecture, a major center for eyeglass production, they handle everything from material creation to shape carving, developing original acetate materials. Through extensive carving testing, they devise methods to make colors appear more vibrant depending on the lighting and angle.

Julia Start Optical, which originated from Tart Optical, a company founded in 1948 that had once ceased to exist, was realized when Mr. Ogara approached Richard Tart, the nephew of the founder of Tart Optical. While faithfully reproducing the original designs, the company manufactures its products in Japan.

Savage will launch on Friday, March 20th*, the same day as the PRIVATEEYES & TRACKERS Aoyama flagship store. It will feature six designs, three types of acetate, and two types of titanium frames. The five-barrel hinges have a handcrafted design, secured to the hinges with star nuts via patterned core wires called "feathers" and screws.
