Cool fabrics perfect for enjoying summer, such as polar and hopsack.

Hopsack is a prime example of a summer fabric that offers both breathability and durability. The name "hopsack" also refers to the burlap sacks used to carry hops for beer. Both hopsack and hopsack are woven using thick, tightly twisted yarns to create a three-dimensional structure, resulting in a crisp texture on the surface that prevents the fabric from sticking to the skin, making it cool and comfortable to wear even in sweaty weather. Its textured surface gives it a sporty look, and its wrinkle-resistant properties make it a popular choice for travel jackets.

This season, ISETAN MEN'S 5th floor tailored clothing section features representative polar and hopsack-like fabrics such as STANDEVEN's "Explorer" and FOX BROTHERS' "Fox Air." VBC's "21 Micron 6-Ply" is tough yet stretchy, making it the perfect material for a luxurious summer.

If you want to fully enjoy fabrics this summer, the sporty suit collections from DALCUORE and ORAZIO LUCIANO are a great choice. ANTONIO PANICO and SARTORIA CIARDI also have collections featuring polar-patterned fabrics. Each piece combines the light tailoring characteristic of Napoletano sartorial craftsmanship with the airy texture of the materials, creating an elegant and graceful look.

Cool, summery materials are also effective for pants. AMBROSI 's collection uses "Foxair," and it comes in a variety of colors and patterns, just like casual pants. MARCO CERRATO also offers pants made with "Explorer" tropical fabric.

Marco Cerrato trousers: 176,000 yen

For summer jackets and trousers, pair them with a linen shirt. And if you want to dress up, have knit ties, garza ties, or linen ties on hand, and you'll be able to fully enjoy summer dressing up.
