2020.01.06 update

dunhill | The Spring/Summer 2020 collection, themed "The Destruction of Classicism," has arrived.

Dunhill, a luxury brand founded in England in 1880, launched its Spring/Summer 2020 collection at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 4th floor, Men's Luxury. For this collection, they collaborated with photographer and digital artist Kenta Kobayashi, an up-and-coming artist known for his works that apply digital processing such as distorted distortions and curves to existing images.

Dunhill has adopted "Destroying Classicism" as the theme for its collection this season. Silhouettes and elegant, smooth cuts inspired by 1980s British casual fashion and Japanese kimonos are reflected in this season's collection. The lineup also includes items made from fabrics typically used in evening wear, as well as pressed and washed wool-silk. A poncho made from extremely thin and lightweight 0.4mm double-faced leather is both practical and luxurious.

What really catches the eye is the graphic print created in collaboration with Kenta Kobayashi. Creative director Mark Weston selected four archival photographs and commissioned Kobayashi to create the artwork. The graphical and abstract art is printed on silk-cotton shirts, ponchos, and paper-nylon hats. We encourage you to check out this new collection, which incorporates both the iconic, disruptive prints of Kenta Kobayashi and conservative items, in stores.
