Fumito Ganryu, the brand created by Fumito Ganryu, former designer of Ganryu, will be holding a promotion at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 2F = Men's Creators from Wednesday, December 11th. During the event, the Spring/Summer 2020 collection will be introduced ahead of time, and Isetan Shinjuku store exclusive items featuring landscape patterns will be on display.

Fumito Ganryu, after working as a patternmaker for Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons, launched Ganryu in 2008. Although successful, he suspended his activities after the Spring/Summer 2017 collection. Last year, he relaunched Fumito Ganryu, which explores the role of clothing in the 21st century and proposes conceptual wear that delves into the relationship between clothing and the body.

The theme for the Spring/Summer 2020 collection, the third season of the brand, is a new "landscape" for those who desire an escape from a surveillance society. By freely combining graphic prints of landscapes such as space, sky, and sea, the collection creates surreal scenes.

The collection also includes jackets and trousers that showcase the brand's signature pattern-making, offering simple yet unique items. Lightweight materials and functional finishes create a natural design that exudes an active impression.

This promotion will feature a hoodie adorned with an illustrated landscape pattern symbolizing the Spring/Summer 2020 season, and a clutch bag with different prints on the front and back, available exclusively at Isetan Shinjuku. This will be a special opportunity to see Fumito Ganryu's latest collection before anywhere else.
