KUDOKE | Independent watchmaker Stefan Kudoke is coming to Japan. Talk and custom order event to be held on Sunday, November 24th!

11.24 Sun
Main Building 5th Floor = Watch/Kudoke

Are you familiar with the watch brand Kudoke? Stephan Kudoke, the founder and watchmaker of Kudoke, was elected an associate member of the Association of Horlogerie Horlogerie Independents (AHCI, commonly known as the Académie) this year. Most recently, he won the Grand Prix in the "Petite Aiguille" (Small Hand) category at the GPHG 2019 (Grand Prix de Geneva Watchmaking). He is attracting attention worldwide.
In order to bring his own vision to life, he single-handedly handles almost every step of the watchmaking process, from designing the patterns and cutting the parts to engraving the watches. This approach is quite unusual even among watchmakers.

Stefan Kudoke will be visiting Japan. A special event will be held on Sunday, November 24th, at the Watch Department on the 5th floor of the main building.

On the day of the event, there will be a talk event by Stéphane Kudoke. Focusing on his new model "KUDOKE2," which won the Grand Prix in its category at the GPHG (Grand Prix de Geneva Watchmaking), he will talk about his thoughts on craftsmanship and his future prospects.

Furthermore, on this day, it will be possible to accept custom orders where the design can be modified to suit the customer's requests, making it a valuable opportunity to create a watch together with the craftsman while communicating directly with them. The finished product may be a one-of-a-kind timepiece in the world.

So, with the event just around the corner, let me introduce two models that will let you fully experience the charm of Kudoke.

"HANDwerk collection KUDOKE2"
1,210,000 yen
Stainless steel case: 39mm diameter, 5 ATM water resistance, manual winding.

First up is the second piece using the in-house movement "Kaliber1," "HANDwerk collection KUDOKE2." It features a day and night function to indicate AM and PM, and is a very simply designed two-hand watch without a second hand. Pay attention to the details, such as the day and night disc and the delicate engraving on the movement, which showcase his true talent as a metal engraver.

"KUNSTwerk collection HS1-Ring"
1,100,000 yen
Stainless steel case: 42mm diameter, 3 ATM water resistance, manual winding.

Next, we introduce a model that combines beauty and practicality, featuring an engraved dial with indices, a characteristic of Kudoke. The playful dial design, incorporating the brand name "K," and the delicate and beautiful engraving and finish showcase Kudoke's unique individuality.

Many men are sure to be thrilled by the intricate and exquisite engraving that appeals to their sensibilities. Imagine how much more enjoyable it would be to gaze at your watch if you could have your favorite motif engraved on it.
