Blue Over, known for its domestically produced sneakers, has teamed up with the fashion and lifestyle magazine "Begin" to develop the business casual sneaker "DAN"!

From Wednesday, November 13th to Tuesday, November 19th, Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building B1F, Men's Shoes will be holding an order event for this new model.

The "DAN" model unveiled this time is a meticulously designed shoe by Blue Over, incorporating modern functionality based on an order from Begin magazine for an "internal lacing, straight tip" style. The exterior features slightly oversized lacing that gives it a powerful look, while the overall soft lines create a gentlemanly appearance.

To ensure the comfortable fit of the sneakers, sponge material is used in the opening and tongue, but the use of a seamless stitching method, which results in a beautiful finish even within a bag-stitched construction, gives them a formal overall impression.

The main material used is Blue Over's original leather, created in collaboration with a domestic tannery. The upper is made of steer leather with an elegant sheen, while the cowhide lining and cup insole are treated with a top coat.

Furthermore, by using non-woven fabric for the cup insole and the entire underside, and high-performance urethane foam "Poron" on the heel, the shoes offer excellent cushioning, heat retention, and moisture absorption/release properties.

At this order event, you can choose your preferred sole from two construction methods: "McKay construction" and "9/10 hand-sewn construction."

The "McKay construction" is characterized by its lightweight feel and excellent flexibility while walking. On the other hand, the "9/10 hand-sewn construction" is characterized by its substantial appearance, and because it uses leather in the insole and cork in the filling, it becomes more comfortable and unique to the wearer as they break in.

Both manufacturing methods utilize EVA material for the outsole, which is commonly used for sneaker soles, making these shoes a long-lasting choice for both business and casual wear.
