The highly anticipated collaboration scarf between mastermind JAPAN, a Japanese brand attracting attention from around the world, and Johnstons, a brand with over 200 years of history, is finally here! It will be available from Wednesday, October 30th at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1F (Seasonal Goods & Hats) and the Isetan online store.


Johnstons, a perennially popular store on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , is a factory brand specializing in Scottish cashmere, founded in 1797. They handle everything from the selection of raw materials to spinning, weaving, and knitting, pursuing meticulous craftsmanship. Similarly, mastermind Japan also pursues uncompromising craftsmanship, with designer Mr. Honma overseeing every aspect, from material selection to production background.


In this collaboration between two brands with such meticulous production backgrounds, Mr. Honma himself selected Johnstons' iconic "tartan check," which has been around since the 1840s. From among the many check patterns, he chose the "black x white" check pattern, which is particularly popular at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building and highly favored by men, and designed it so that mastermind's iconic skull motif stands out.

This time, we're offering two sizes: the ever-popular 35cm width and a 70cm width that can also be used as a blanket. This special collaboration scarf, a joint effort between two brands with many fans around the world, is exclusive to Isetan Shinjuku, so don't miss out.
