Based on the concept of "day put wonder," which respects the old and fuses it with the new, Datel is a Japanese brand specializing in vests that started in 2015. Using rare vintage fabrics, they create one-of-a-kind vests filled with the dedication and passion of designer Takashi Sasaki.

Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1st Floor = Sweaters & Casual Shirts will be holding a promotion for the brand from Wednesday, October 23rd. During the promotion, new models and vests made from valuable vintage fabrics will be available, and a vest pattern order event will also be held simultaneously.


This promotion introduces "DAFNE," a new Fall/Winter 2019 collection inspired by the "bicycler." It features four large pockets on the front and one at the waist that can hold a 500ml water bottle. The flaps, which are integrated into the body of the garment, allow for easy one-handed access to contents. This garment combines materials and functionality to propose a new way of being in the city. In addition, we have a selection of vests that will add color to your on- and off-duty styles, ranging from classic models to those made from vintage kimono fabrics. All of these are limited production items using precious fabrics, so we recommend checking them out as soon as possible.

Additionally, a pattern order event will be held during the exhibition period, where you can choose from three models, including "DAFNE." You can select your favorite from 15 types of archive fabrics, including wool, silk, cotton, and cowhide, which have been specially selected for this event.
