A bespoke order event for Marinella, a long-established Italian necktie shop, will be held on Saturday, October 12th at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1st floor, Dress Shirts & Neckties section. On that day, the third-generation owner, Maurizio Marinella, and his eldest son, Alessandro, will be present to take measurements and create a special necktie tailored to each customer's requests.

Founded in Naples, Italy in 1914, Marinella's flagship store, located right by the sea and spanning only about 20 square meters, is personally run by the current owner, Maurizio. His hospitality permeates every aspect of the store and its products, making it a beloved and renowned establishment enjoyed by people all over the world.

Marinella ties are appealing for their original style, which blends traditional elegance and quality inherited from the founder with innovation, creating a unique fusion of two tastes: "Pure Napolitan" and "Very British." The fabric has an exquisite balance of firmness and softness, and the tie is made with meticulous craftsmanship, resulting in an exceptional feel when worn.


This order event will feature a wide variety of approximately 350 options, including classic small patterns and special fabrics not available in ready-made products, reproduced based on the brand's past designs. Of particular note is the option to order a special specification called "Settepieghe Antiche," which uses more folds and fabric than the brand's signature seven-fold "Settepieghe," requiring advanced techniques and time. On the day of the event, the third-generation owner, Maurizio Marinella, and his eldest son, Alessandro, will be present to help customers choose a special sword, adjusting the length and blade width according to their physique and preferences.
