Based at Kyoto University of Art and Design, it archives the works of young artists active mainly in Kyoto, and also engages in art leasing and sales, exhibition management, and spatial art direction.
"Art Tech," which handles a wide range of works from paintings and prints to three-dimensional objects, proposes to the world how to incorporate art into everyday life. At "Art Lounge @ Isetan Men's," they will introduce the works of 14 young artists whose works will enrich your life in the everyday.
Artist: Saya Mimura

Driven by a desire to share the beauty that is usually overlooked, the artist preserves the small, beautiful moments in everyday life through photographs and drawings. Using silkscreen printing, they control the combination of prints and the transparency of the ink to recreate those scenes.
Artist: Saki Morii

Reality is a place where conflicting elements such as "ideals and illusions," "relief and fear," and "dominance and subjugation" permeate. Within the brain, these elements constantly coexist, absorbing and refining each other. This work expresses that process.
Artist: Momoka Nakamura

"The City Without Stars" 7,000 yen + tax Oil on canvas (17.5 x 25 cm)
The motif depicted is a "face," but it's less of a depiction of a person and more of something uncertain and illusory. The artist expresses the struggle to grasp the very essence of human existence through vigorous strokes and vivid colors, translating it into a painting.
Artist: Narumi Tsubakino

The artist creates works themed around "time and space," drawing on the visual, tactile, auditory, and even experiential information gained from walking around town, as well as memories. This information is then translated into drawings.
In addition to these four artists, the event will feature works by a total of 14 artists, and contemporary artist Noboru Tsubaki is also scheduled to visit. He won the title for his work "Fresh Gasoline" at the "Against Nature" exhibition held in 1989, and has had a tremendous influence on contemporary art in Japan ever since. Don't miss this rare opportunity to enjoy art while having a conversation with an artist well-versed in contemporary art.
