A fitting event for Migliore, a brand run by Yoshio Okamoto, a highly skilled pattern maker who creates elegant curves honed in Italy, will be held on September 1st (Sunday) at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 5th floor = Made to Measure.


Having honed his skills in Italy in the 1970s, Mr. Okamoto has also demonstrated his talent as a pattern maker for numerous brands since returning to Japan. He is one of the people who has energetically spread the appeal of Neapolitan-style suits, including his involvement in producing original suits for famous select shops.

The suits tailored by this craftsman are unique, based on the "six-front jacket" design which features a "figure 6" shape from the lapel to the hem, and are characterized by a comfortable fit that envelops the body from the back. The suits, which incorporate design elements into a light Neapolitan style of tailoring, are attractive because every part is composed of curves, from the curved gorge line to the shoulders that create exceptional lightness thanks to the boldly designed raindrop sleeves, and the attention to detail in every aspect.
