GRAFLANTZ, a brand that proposes bags that fuse Japanese and German aesthetics with Southern California design elements, has collaborated with poet and photographer Yoshinori Henkuchi to create a new tote bag, which will be available from August 21st (Wednesday) at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building B1F, Bags section.


Founded in Los Angeles by two designers, Holger Graf, who holds a doctorate in engineering, and Daniel Lanz, who pursues materials and beauty, Graflanz creates practical, modern bags based on high-quality natural materials such as merino wool, organic cotton, and vegetable-tanned leather.


For this collaboration, the brand has chosen poet Yoshinori Henguchi as its partner, a poetic artist who has participated in exhibitions such as "New Century Osaka" and "ANTI FOTO" in Düsseldorf, Germany, and who develops his own unique philosophical perspective.

In this project, messages about everyday occurrences and things we often overlook are incorporated and painted onto canvas tote bags. By combining the inherent qualities of the material with modern and artistic designs, the result is a product that evokes a sense of "simple beauty."
