Putting the principle of "God is in the details" into practice with small items and clever tricks.

The dark charcoal gray suit features a bird's-eye-like micro-check pattern. For this textured suit, he's deliberately chosen a white shirt and a light beige small-patterned tie to create a subtle V-zone. While many people pair double-breasted suits with a narrow V-zone with slightly bolder colored or patterned ties, he seems to be opting for a more understated dress-up look.

Take a look at the collar. A collar clip is used to tighten the lapel points of the regular collar. This is a great accessory to add a formal touch, as it creates a tight neckline even without a tab collar or pinhole collar. The choice of gold instead of silver was likely made to match the color of the tie.

His character was rather understated, and he never revealed the brand of his suit until the very end, but I got the impression that he's the type who puts his all into the little details.

He's even using a pocket square with a subtle pattern, and he's deliberately tucking it in a puffed style rather than the typical TV style. If you look closely, you'll see that his suit also has a change pocket, incorporating the trendy British style.

His attention to detail is truly impressive. Incidentally, his watch is a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso. "Ideally, I would have liked it to have the same gold case as the color clip," he said with a shy smile. Mr. Furubayashi, who just transferred from the jewelry and watch department to the closing department this spring, seems to be the type of person who puts diligence into the details.
