Perfect for summer! The elegance of a knit tie paired with a cotton suit.
This beige suit is from a Neapolitan brand that's currently experiencing a surge in popularity. The lustrous fabric is made of cotton. Moreover, the fabric tag on the inner pocket reveals that it's from the high-end fabric manufacturer Loro Piana.
While a plain beige suit is often paired with a patterned shirt and tie for a casual look, Mr. Masuda has deliberately opted for a chic, plain shirt and tie. This is a great example of how a cotton suit can also be dressed up in a sophisticated way.

Suit: De Petrillo Shirt: Camiciaio Oggi
*Both are personal belongings.
Cotton suits can often feel stiff and uncomfortable due to the fabric's rigidity, but De Petrillo suits, despite their slimming silhouette, offer ample room in the fitting and stitching. As a result, they don't feel restrictive at all. Ms. Masuda has also fallen in love with their appeal and has been wearing them for about two years now.
The shirt is from "Camichaio Oggi." The mesh-like material, woven with crisp, tightly twisted yarn, doesn't stick to sweaty skin and adds dimension to the V-zone, which tends to be flat.
Combining this with a knit tie is a classic choice for the V-zone in summer. The textured knit of the tie gives it a casual feel, and the material seems to allow air to pass through, creating a refreshing look around the chest. Choosing not to wear a pocket square is also a way to wear a casual suit.
