At DSQUARED2 Fall/Winter 2019 Pre-Collection Promotion currently being held on the 3rd floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building the second installment, "ARCTIC RAVE," will be released on Wednesday, July 17th, following the first installment, "CANADIANA." The collection features items inspired by "rave parties" enjoyed in extremely cold climates.

The design source for this collection, "acid rave," refers to a massive movement that began around 1987 in Chicago and London, mixing electronic music, fashion, and club culture to attract many young people.


Inspired by the rave fashion of the time, the collection is reminiscent of mountain sportswear using technical materials. The lineup includes fluorescent parkas, shiny down jackets, bomber jackets with prints and embroidery, and items featuring glitch prints.

In particular, the new motif combining the "maple leaf," which is densely found in Ontario, Canada, the hometown of the two designers, with a smiley face, is a noteworthy design that is being used on various items.
