The 2019 Autumn/Winter men's collection from the brand YOHJI YAMAMOTO , designed by Yohji Yamamoto, will be available from July 10th (Wednesday) at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 2nd floor = Men's Creators.

Yohji Yamamoto, which expresses "unidentifiable" men with free spirits unbound by societal norms, has announced the theme of its Fall/Winter 2019 collection: "The Melody of Black."

Based on a linear and structured military style, the collection elevates the "military uniform" to the "ultimate military uniform" through the synergistic effect of imbalance and deconstruction techniques, such as the random placement of oversized buttons and Buddha buttons, and the overwhelming and poetic expression of abstract paintings, letters, and images through embroidery and transfer printing. As an antithesis to this, the collection proclaims "hope for peace."
