Shimazaki explains that the designer brand double-breasted suit has playful details throughout. Therefore, he chose a classic dress shirt made with Thomas Mason fabric to express a sense of professionalism in the V-zone. He selected a tie made of a three-component blend of wool, silk, and linen to balance with the ikat-patterned suit fabric. He took care not to let the tie stand out too much, reflecting his awareness of his role as a behind-the-scenes staff member assisting customers. "The Store Attendant Department guides customers not only to Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , but also to the Ladies' section of the main building, food, and living. I personally like blue, but I also think that blue is well-received by female customers when I'm assisting them." Upon closer inspection, the gray suit has a tone-on-tone blue checkered pattern.
