Kento Imaizumi, Assistant Buyer, Men's Tailored Clothing
Imaizumi prefers a double hem for her trousers to "create a focal point at the ankles," and she loves a double hem that is 4.5 to 5 cm wide. She says her ideal hem is "no cushioning when wearing loafers." For the spring and summer seasons, she recommends hemming the trousers so that they "cover about half of the ankle."

"I used to do sprints, so my glutes and thigh muscles are well-developed," says Kento Imaizumi. His hips and thighs are larger than his waist, and although his pants size is 46, his hips are 48 and his waist is 44. To avoid them being too tight, he sometimes goes up a size, and he chooses pants with some room to spare. His key point is to choose pants that
" don't dig into his hips and where the crease at the thighs stays in the right position without spilling out."

A new staple featuring a beautiful, flowing tapered line from the waist to below the knee.

PT01 Pants ¥43,200
Since its debut in 2017, the "Gentleman Fit" has been gaining popularity year after year. With a slightly higher rise, a relaxed fit around the thighs, and a tapered line that narrows towards the ankles, this model, along with sophisticated details such as flap pockets, has a very refined finish.

My favorite is the "Gentleman Fit" from PT01. It has a high rise, room around the thighs, a tapered leg, and a narrow hem width of 17.5cm. Compared to my previous slimmer jeans, it feels more relaxed and has a comfortable fit.

In addition to creating a perfectly sculpted leg silhouette, it also has the added benefit of making your hips look great and your legs appear longer.

GTA 's "A800" pants are a highly recommended choice for those with wider thighs, offering a flattering fit. They have ample room around the hips and thighs, and a clean, not-too-aggressive taper, creating a pants that are "just right"—comfortable and relaxed. The hem width is 18-18.5cm.
