SERAPIAN began when its founder, Stefano Serapian, discovered the excellence of Italian leather and started making bags using discarded materials from a bag workshop. From Wednesday, May 29th, the Luggage section on the first basement floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building will feature a复刻 (reissue) of the masterpiece "Mosaico," which was created in 1947, as well as a limited-edition color from the brand's signature "Stepan" series, exclusive to Mitsukoshi Isetan.

Founded in Milan, Italy in 1923, SERAPIAN is a leather goods brand. Using carefully selected materials and the skills of expert craftsmen, their bags are crafted with sophisticated designs and continue to be loved by celebrities worldwide, including movie stars and the British royal family.


The brand, which has produced numerous works to date, released "Mosaic" in 1947, which is made by hand-weaving strips of lambskin leather one by one. The beautiful design, which is a condensation of craftsmanship, became a representative series of SERAPIAN at the time.

"Mosaico" Boston bag: 275,400 yen

This promotion will feature a new collection that revives the "Mosaic" series. Four different styles will be available, including Boston bags and clutch bags, in beautifully contrasting color combinations such as black and white, camel, black, and white, as well as single-tone combinations of black and gray.

Furthermore, from the popular "Stepan" series, which has continued to captivate many fans since its creation in 1976, we are offering a limited edition color exclusive to Mitsukoshi Isetan.
The "Stepan" series, featuring a durable, water-resistant material made from thick cotton with a PVC coating, boasts both functional ease of use and an elegant design. This season, two chic, sophisticated colors suitable for adults—"white x white" and "navy x navy"—will be available as limited editions. These items are sure to be very useful during the upcoming rainy season.
