Founded by Cornelio Talamona, Talamona was an Italian pipe brand that flourished in the 1930s. At the time, it produced nearly 50,000 pipes a day and achieved global success, but later disappeared. It was revived in 2010 by pipe maker Paolo Crocci. All Talamona pipes are handcrafted by him, and are handmade products that allow you to appreciate the beauty unique to Made in Italy. The number of stars engraved on the shank represents the rank of the beauty of the wood grain, with more stars indicating a higher rank.
In a world where efficiency is demanded in everything, one might think that smoking a pipe is incredibly anachronistic. A single puff takes 30 minutes or more, sometimes even over an hour, and requires meticulous maintenance. Yet, why do people still smoke pipes? It's not just because of the depth of flavor, but because the slow time spent puffing a pipe fosters profound contemplation and is a "culture" that has nurtured gentlemen for centuries. An aesthetic sense that cannot be imitated elsewhere thrives in Italy. On a long autumn night, it wouldn't be a bad idea to contemplate the future with a Taramona pipe carved from natural wood in hand.
