991/Kyukyuichi is a men's knitwear brand launched in 2016 by spinning and knitwear manufacturer Sato Textile, aiming for "the ultimate in manufacturing like never before." The rib knit jacket, woven to the limit using a 15-gauge whole garment machine, uses a woven fabric pattern, resulting in a jacket that combines the comfort of a knit jacket with the silhouette of a traditional jacket. The moderately thick knit fabric also has excellent shape retention, and the three-dimensional silhouette creates a beautiful form when worn.
