One of the essential elements of British, and especially London-based, gentleman's style is Drake's tie.

Founded in 1977 by Michael Drake, Drake's quickly rose to fame with its flamboyant ties and scarves, establishing a firm position not only in Europe but also in America and Asia. It has adorned the V-zones of discerning gentlemen. Drake's commitment lies in its pursuit of beautiful hand-stitching in addition to its selection of high-quality materials. All sewing is done in its workshop on Haberdashery Street in London.

To achieve even more vibrant colors, they meticulously employ hand-printing. In other words, they take pride in being "London-made" and steadfastly uphold their craftsmanship.

From a collection from about 40 years ago, which most strongly embodies that spirit, a large paisley print has been revived as a special order. The wide 9cm width of the tie instantly gives off a classic and elegant mood, and by using 40oz silk fabric instead of the usual 50oz, the volume has been moderately reduced, resulting in a lighter finish. The pride of the London gentleman is passed down while evolving in this way.
