New bags are coming from France!

It's gotten quite warm, and Golden Week is just around the corner. I'm sure many of you will be heading to resorts during this 10-day holiday!
At the Salon de Shimaji Select Shop corner, we are showcasing bags that you'll want to take with you to resort destinations, from Wednesday, April 24th to Tuesday, May 7th.



Shimaji : "We're introducing bags from the French brand Vin de Voyage. This brand was born in Saint-Malo, one of France's leading resort towns where yacht racing is popular, and their bags are made using yacht sail material. We're holding an order event today."


This brand was founded by Mr. Yang, who himself was a yacht racer, and was launched in collaboration with designer Christine.


Shimaji : "Please come and see the bags made from materials that support the battles of yachtsmen."

Katsuhiko Shimaji is the producer of the Isetan Men's Residence Salon de Shimaji, located on the 8th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . Born in 1941, he graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University and joined Shueisha. He was assigned to "Weekly Playboy" and became its editor-in-chief in 1983, where he created a sensation with the "Life Advice" column featuring Renzo Shibata, Toko Kon, and Ken Kaiko as respondents, growing the magazine into a million-copy publication. He later served as editor-in-chief of "PLAYBOY Japan" and "BART." After serving as the representative director of Shueisha International, he retired in 2008. He is currently a writer and essayist.
