SING FLABULS is a brand that proposes "Imabari towels," which are recognized worldwide, as fashion items. From Wednesday, April 10th, the promotion held on the first basement floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building will feature a lineup of new apparel and accessories made with terry cloth, as well as a "jinbei" (traditional Japanese summer wear) exclusive to Mitsukoshi Isetan.


For 120 years, Imabari City in Ehime Prefecture has played a vital role in the development of Japan's towel industry. In 2016, the brand SING FLABULS debuted in this very city. Working in collaboration with local artisans, they reinterpreted the pile fabrics cultivated in Imabari, developing original fabrics best suited for apparel. They produce items specializing in pile fabrics for all their clothing and accessories.

Using a "two-bath dyeing" method that soaks cotton and acrylic fibers in two different dye solutions, and expressing a heathered look with jacquard weaving, this jinbei has a slightly slimmer silhouette for a stylish impression.
