The "Exponential," a smartphone-only speaker that lets you enjoy music anytime simply by placing your smartphone inside its glass casing, will be available from Wednesday, February 20th at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 8th floor = Isetan Men's Residence.

Suzuki recommends that the slightly hard sound, enhanced by the glass, is ideal for producing acoustic sounds.

"Exponential," a glass speaker born from the desire to make the music experience more free, was created through a collaboration between internationally acclaimed product designer Keita Suzuki and sghr/Sugahara, a glass manufacturer with a workshop in Kujukuri, Chiba Prefecture, with whom he had a long-standing relationship. This smartphone-dedicated speaker allows you to enjoy music anywhere without using a power source simply by placing your smartphone inside the glass casing, transforming digital sound sources into a rich, analog sound through the glass.

Although it has a simple structure that amplifies sound using the same principle as a phonograph horn, achieving this with blown glass is extremely difficult. Because every step requires advanced skills, it is said that only one craftsman is capable of producing this "exponential."
