Just when we started to feel the arrival of spring, the forecast predicts a sharp drop in temperature again this weekend. Everyone, please take care of your health, as this is a time when fatigue can easily set in.
Last week, bartender Matsumoto came all the way from Ichinoseki, and Mr. Shimaji seemed relieved. The "forbidden highball" that we introduced last time received a great response, and unfortunately, we didn't get to see much of bartender Matsumoto's shaking skills, but everyone seemed very pleased and had a wonderful time.


Now, the main event at Salon de Shimaji this weekend is the Nakky Made Trunk Show.
On Saturday, February 9th and Sunday, February 10th, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM each day, designer Mr. Nakagawa will be visiting the store to take custom frame orders.

Shimaji : "Nacky Made, which is always popular, is coming again. I'm an eyewear collector, so of course I own some. I have so many pairs of glasses that I don't intend to buy any more, but I might just end up ordering another pair. It's just my nature to buy something without hesitation if I find something beautiful."

The last time Mr. Nakagawa visited, Ms. Shimaji ordered two bottles without hesitation. We hope you'll all look forward to seeing how they turn out!

Katsuhiko Shimaji is the producer of the Isetan Men's Residence Salon de Shimaji, located on the 8th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . Born in 1941, he graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University and joined Shueisha. He was assigned to "Weekly Playboy" and became its editor-in-chief in 1983, where he created a sensation with the "Life Advice" column featuring Renzo Shibata, Toko Kon, and Ken Kaiko as respondents, growing the magazine into a million-copy publication. He later served as editor-in-chief of "PLAYBOY Japan" and "BART." After serving as the representative director of Shueisha International, he retired in 2008. He is currently a writer and essayist.
