Founded in London in 1856 by Thomas Burberry, BURBERRY is now a leading British luxury brand widely loved around the world.

From its inception, Thomas Burberry has pursued functionality and comfort, developing "gabardine," a groundbreaking new material with excellent water repellency and breathability. It was adopted for use by polar explorers, pilots, and British officers, and is known for revolutionizing outerwear. This pioneering spirit has been passed down as part of the brand's DNA, and it continues to grow today as one of Britain's leading brands with unparalleled innovation and exceptional craftsmanship.

In March 2018, Riccardo Tisci succeeded Christopher Bailey, who had led BURBERRY for 17 years, as Chief Creative Officer. He revamped the brand's logo and monogram for the first time in about 20 years, collaborated with Vivienne Westwood, and presented "B Classic," a curated collection of looks from the Spring/Summer 2018 pre-collection, demonstrating a pioneering spirit from the very beginning of his tenure.
