People often ask me, "Are you particular about making things by hand?" But it's not that they're expensive because they're handmade; it's because we're doing work that can only be done by hand.
The way the soft bristles spring back so crisply is something I developed myself after studying the brush-making process. The tail hairs have a thin, conical tip and strong resistance to lateral force, allowing the bristles to reach even the smallest details and remove fine dust.

If you look at the tips of the brush bristles, you'll see that they're trimmed in a way that makes the center slightly raised. This technique, where the bristles are evenly trimmed to create a curved shape throughout the entire brush, can only be done by hand.
Well, he's a genius when it comes to making brushes (laughs). Nobody else had ever thought of a brush like this.
