Centered around Northampton, Britain is home to a multitude of high-end shoe manufacturers. Many of the world-renowned brands have a history spanning well over 100 years, but there are also up-and-coming brands that possess capabilities that surpass even these highly reputable, long-established companies.

One of the leading examples is Gaziano & Girling, founded in 2006 by Tony Gaziano, who served as a pattern maker and head of bespoke at EDWARD GREEN , and Dean Girling, who worked on bespoke at JOHN LOBB .

Their shoemaking process still involves cutting high-quality leather by hand and using traditional machines to last the shoes, taking about twice as long as usual. The resulting shoes, born from processes unimaginable in ready-made footwear, possess a captivatingly curved proportion and a distinctly British elegance. The delicate broguing on the punched cap toe also exudes a unique and unparalleled style.
