I often wear half coats or leather blousons every season, but this season I'm interested in a style that involves wearing a long coat in an oversized fit for a more polished look. I'm not going for a stiff, formal style...the key is to wear oversized clothes from head to toe in a "comfortable" way.

Winter outfits tend to be simple, with outerwear taking center stage, but I chose this Roberto Collina scarf because its vibrant colors allow it to be worn like an accessory, adding a nice accent. The key to this look is to wear it loosely around the neck rather than tying it, to maintain a relaxed feel and avoid looking too polished.


As someone who loves Black culture, I'm a big fan of primary colors (laughs). From the scarf I selected to my personal Puma sneakers, I want to incorporate more primary colors into my styling this winter by coordinating the colors of my accessories, and express my own unique style.

Lately, I've been spending a lot of time relaxing, going on road trips with friends, visiting hot springs, or drinking coffee by a lake in the cold.
So this winter, I plan to go out more often and not let the winter cold get the better of me, with this kind of styling: comfortable in just a sweatshirt inside the car, and then quickly throwing on a scarf and coat as soon as I get out.
