Since its founding in 1924, Belstaff, a British brand that has captivated many celebrities and people around the world, continues to evolve. This season, with Sean Lanehart Moore as Creative Director, they have released a new capsule collection, "INTRODUCING." The first installment of this collection is currently available at the Authentic Wear section on the 7th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building .


The capsule collection "INTRODUCING," designed by Sean Lanehart Moore, draws inspiration from Belstaff's archive items and reflects the brand's identity for the future.

Upon assuming the role of creative director, he learned about the essence of Belstaff through its archive pieces, noting that many of its designs were functional, innovative, and iconic, making them relevant to the modern era. These were then incorporated as the core items of the collection, expressing past popular silhouettes through a contemporary filter.

Inspired by the fabrics of 1950s travel bags, the "Journey Jacket" features four pockets and is made from a heavy, woven canvas material that is resistant to fraying and tearing. It is finished with hand-waxed leather binding.
Similarly, the "Cooper Jacket," a waist-length leather jacket designed based on 1950s scooter jackets, uses supple full-grain leather. It features a plaid pattern as a key design element and has been updated with a modern silhouette.

Inspired by 1930s aviator and tank jackets, the "Trail Jacket" features 6-ounce water-repellent cotton, a detachable merino wool shirred collar, and onion quilting for warmth and water resistance.
Furthermore, the "Garrison Coat," inspired by the brand's storm coat, is designed for layering and uses lightweight cotton, linen, and reverse twill. Attention to detail is evident in features such as engine buttons and an adjustable belt.
