I felt a sense of relief knowing that everything I wanted was readily available.


I've always loved vintage clothing, and vintage items are fundamental to my taste, so when I first looked at the 7th floor, which featured authentic wear, I found exactly what I consider to be "everyday basics." It was fun to start by choosing things I liked on the 7th floor and then gradually add more dressy items as I went down to the lower floors.

What are your expectations for Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building now that it's celebrating its 15th anniversary? Participating in this project has made me realize once again that Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building has an undeniable selection of goods. As I mentioned regarding hosiery, they have basic items, so you can choose something for fun, and when you get tired of the fun, you can go back to the basics. Because they have customers who can afford expensive items, they have a good selection of goods, and the overall level of the store is greatly elevated.

In the high-end men's shoe section on the first basement floor, I found a pair of Enzo Bonafe crocodile shoes, and I thought, " Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building is truly impressive." It may not be something customers think about, but there are designers and craftsmen who create things, people who work in factories and their families, and their lives. There are always people behind the price, so if you understand that and buy with that in mind, you'll cherish the item and develop an attachment to it.

Enzo Bonafe 's crocodile shoes are very expensive, but Mr. Tabata, the sales manager for men's shoes, said, "I want to sell them all, no matter how many years it takes." It's good to have men's items that embody such passion. There's a dream in a store that supports people who make good products.

So, this time, I thoroughly explored the store from the 7th floor to the basement 1st floor and created three different outfits. I picked out items I liked and that caught my eye on each floor and put them together in my head, and I think they look pretty good!
