A pop-up promotion for DSQUARED2 , the brand by twin brothers Dean & Dan from Toronto, Canada, has opened on the first basement floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . This pop-up focuses on the Spring/Summer 2018 main collection, with products organized around three themes: "NEW AFRICA," "HAWAIIAN ROCKER," and "50's PROM." The latest collection, which blends playfulness and sexiness, is on display, along with studded sandals exclusive to Isetan Shinjuku.

As mentioned earlier, DSQUARED2 's Spring/Summer 2018 main collection was built around three themes: "NEW AFRICA," "HAWAIIAN ROCKER," and "50's PROM." For "NEW AFRICA," they drew inspiration from the "Sapeurs," a fashion group in the Democratic Republic of Congo who carry on their own unique aesthetic. Their style, dressed in colorful high-end suits and strolling through the streets with elegance and humor, is a true symbol of hot Africa. DSQUARED2 resonated with their sensibility, added their own unique touch, and elevated it into their designs.


Furthermore, "HAWAIIAN ROCKER," which focuses on the tropical print shirt worn by Elvis Presley on the record jacket of his 1965 hit song "Paradise Hawaiian," offers a modern interpretation of an item that captivated young people at the time and instantly became a style icon. "50's PROM" draws inspiration from the mismatched styling of American and Canadian high school students wearing oversized tuxedo jackets, reminiscent of borrowing their fathers' most formal attire, creating a somewhat nostalgic atmosphere.
