adidas | Limited-time pop-up store focusing on the "adidas ICON" series

From Monday, May 14th to Tuesday, May 22nd, adidas will be opening a pop-up promotion at the Contemporary Casual section on the 6th floor of Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . During this period, the fourth collection of "ICON SUIT," jointly developed by Isetan Men's and adidas, will be available, as well as "ICON TOKYO," premium sportswear that fuses Japanese craftsmanship with the latest technology. With the theme of "unifying the feelings of Japanese supporters for the Japanese national soccer team through the fusion of sports and fashion," the event will be held in conjunction with the "adidas Kachiiro Collection" pop-up shop set up in the Promotion area on the 1st floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , to promote sports.

Based on the concept of "URBAN UNIFORM," the "Icon Suit" collection, a joint development between adidas and Isetan Men's, is now in its fourth season with the Spring/Summer 2018 collection. This collection incorporates the possibilities and innovations of sports into everyday lifestyles, and while being designed to be coordinated with sneakers, it also pursues the essence of a suit that can be worn in a wide range of situations.

The jacket features a flat finish on the front pockets with water-resistant zippers, creating a sporty yet sophisticated look. The included tie, made from the same material as the jacket, allows for versatile wear, from formal to casual. Furthermore, the collection proposes a new summer set-up style, including 9/10 length trousers designed to be worn with sneakers, as well as a jacket paired with shorts.

This season, the collection features seersucker fabric, which provides a smooth feel against the skin and comfortable wear even during times when clothing tends to stick to the body. Considering Japan's humid climate, the collection incorporates CLIMALITE technology for sweat absorption and quick drying, as well as stretchability required for commuting by train or cycling. The jacket also comes with a tie, enabling a more sophisticated total coordination.

In addition to the release of new sneakers, the "ICON TOKYO" series of premium sportswear, which fuses Japanese craftsmanship with the latest technology, will make its debut at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building during the event. Items such as a kimono-style track top jacket inspired by sashiko stitching and distinctive track pants with a hakama motif will also be on display.
