The main body of the Cabaret bag is made of sashiko weaving using "Mikawa cotton" from the Mikawa region of Aichi Prefecture. The workshop Tanei, founded in 1920, which is responsible for its production, is a leading manufacturer specializing in sashiko weaving, and has produced uniforms for martial arts such as kendo and judo.

Sashiko weaving, characterized by its unique textured surface, is also used in martial arts uniforms that come into contact with the skin. This durable and friction-resistant fabric is soft and smooth to the touch. As you continue to use it, the fabric becomes softer and fluffier, allowing you to enjoy the unique character that comes with owning it.
