BOLIDO/Bolid


The Bolido, meaning "shooting star" in Spanish, was created through a collaboration between Ventura's founder Pierre Knopps and Simon Huslein (*1). It features a monocoque case that is individually carved using a technique called decolletage.

The asymmetrical design, with the 12 o'clock side higher, enhances visibility while also serving the functional purpose of protecting the crown at the top of the case. This brand, which began being sold at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building last year, will be offering one design in five dial colors.
(*1) Partner of the late Hannes Wetstein, he designed timepieces for Ventura, Braun, and Nomos.
