MAGNANNI , one of Spain's leading shoe brands that has been making shoes with meticulous care for three generations, will be holding a pattern order and hand-painting order event at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building B1F, Men's Shoes. On April 21st (Sat) and 22nd (Sun), staff from the company will be visiting Japan to demonstrate the coloring process, and this will be a rare opportunity to place a special hand-painted order.


MAGNANNI was founded in 1954 by Pasqual Blanco Martinez, the second-generation owner and only son of the founder, who had a keen sense of design as a shoe pattern maker since his student days. Using high-quality vegetable-tanned leather to create the shoe prototypes, and applying hand-finishing and post-dyeing to the level of a work of art, MAGNANNI creates comfortable shoes that are lightweight and highly flexible, based on the Bolognese construction method, which provides a gentle fit by shaping the half-insole and lining leather into a bag-like form.

This custom order event will offer 13 different designs, 84 colors of leather in 4 materials, and 5 types of sole materials. We have invited Miguel, the factory manager from Spain, to demonstrate the hand-painting technique to customers, and will also offer a hand-painting service where customers can choose their preferred colors and have them painted on the spot before receiving their shoes.
