Buyer Yuki Yamaura, who has a keen eye on the passion for craftsmanship in Southern Italy, is now focusing on PRINCIPE D'ELEGANZA, a brand whose name, when translated literally, has the sweet sound of "elegant prince." Ahead of its first trunk show, to be held on April 14th (Sat) and 15th (Sun) at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 4th floor = International Luxury, he conveys the charm of "handcrafted clothing with character" that will become a standard for the next generation.

Principe di Eleganza was founded in 2009 by businessman Enrico Manzo, who was captivated by the high level of skill of Antonella Della Rosa, who had honed her skills at renowned tailor shops. He established a workshop with her on the outskirts of Naples. Currently, it is a newly established factory employing around 30 craftsmen and focusing on made-to-order garments.

Isetan Men's is currently focusing on this Neapolitan factory brand, and it is indeed well-made, with Neapolitan-style details, a soft and light fit, and a beautiful drape. From the front darts that go all the way to the hem of the jacket, symbolizing its "Neapolitan origins," to the wide lapels, the extremely thin interlining around the shoulders, the soft ease of the sleeve attachment, and even the hand-stitched seams and bar tack stitching on the trousers, everything conveys a sense of meticulous handiwork, giving off a subtle air of elegance.

This spring, Isetan Men's has commissioned a special "Japan Model," which condenses the charm of classic Neapolitan tailoring. Furthermore, this season's lineup includes suits, jackets, Gurkha pants, and coats. Made-to-measure services based on these items will also be available.
