Just like fashion, we want to freely express individuality through scent—this is the idea behind Garment, a Japanese fragrance brand founded by total fashion creator Takeru Yamashita. From Wednesday, March 28th, a Garment promotion will be held Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1F = Men's Accessories/Cosmetics.


After graduating from Tama Art University in 2010, Takeru Yamashita studied fashion design at the University of the Arts London. Upon returning to Japan, he began working as a total fashion creator. His own perfume brand, Garment, launched in 2016, proposes a way of wearing scent called "fragrance filtering." He applies the concept of filters, which enrich the expression of photographs, to fragrance.

By layering fragrance filters that alter the texture of the scent onto the base fragrance, you can coordinate your scent to match your mood, fashion, and the occasion. Like choosing clothes, your original perfume expresses your individuality, enabling elegant and delicate expression and greatly expanding the range of scent possibilities.
